BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Wallace E. McLeod, a graduate of Victoria College at the University of Toronto (1953) with a Masters of Arts degree from Harvard University (1954), attended the American School of Classical Studies in 1957-1959 holding the Charles Eliot Norton Fellowship in 1958-1959.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

The Wallace E. McLeod Papers consist of material related to his time as Charles Eliot Norton Fellow at the ASCSA, when he participated in the Lerna Excavations and became interested in medieval fortifications of the Argolid. He published the results of his research in an article entitled “Kiveri and Thermisi,” in Hesperia 31 (1962), pp. 378-392.
